AH-6 Little Bird - Major League Aviation Kids™

The AH-6 Little Bird is a light helicopter used by the United States Army Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). It was originally based on a modified OH-6A and later based on the MD 500E, with a single five-bladed main rotor. The newest version has a single, six-bladed main rotor and four-bladed tail rotor. The agile AH-6 Little Bird is designed for light attack, close air support and direct attack for special operations forces in adverse weather and at night. The AH-6 can carry a wide array of weapons mounted on plank weapons carriers. It provides armed helicopter support to both ground and air special operations.
