Straight Outta Compton, the new movie depicting the rise to fame of Southern LA’s most famous rappers Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, DJ Yella and MC Ren, is not only taking over theaters across the country, but the internet as well. “Straight Outta” memes have practically crashed the interwebs, Instagram and Facebook over the past few days, and there seems to be no end in sight.
It’s no coincidence that the Spreadshirt Marketplace saw a HUGE boom of Straight Outta designs over the past few days. With the release of the movie on Friday, August 14th, people everywhere are sporting designs repping where they’re from, who they are and whatever the heck they’re “straight outta”… Straight Outta Boston, Straight Outta Pittsburgh, Straight Outta Patience, Straight Outta Dunkin’ Donuts, Straight Outta Bed. Let’s just hope you don’t get caught Straight Outta Toilet Paper! 🙂
