Which improvements does the new T-Shirt Designer (version 7) offer?
Faster, smarter, more intuitive - the new T-Shirt Designer is simply more fun to use, and it is also built to improve conversion. These reasons in mind, we released the new T-Shirt Designer for our direct customers earlier this year. Now that the introduction phase and some improvements have been made, version 7 is readily available for Premium Shop-Partners as well. Reasons enough for us to once again introduce the new T-Shirt Designer's features.
Modern layout
The new Designer just looks better. Unlike its predecessor, it takes up the whole width of the monitor. It utilizes the most up-to-date layout technology. The large t-shirt view appears in the middle of the screen and - next to occupying a well deserved spot - you can now read small text more precisely as well as position small and detailed designs more effectively.
All in all, the new layout makes designing products easier by taking our viewing habits into account to allow for using every feature in an intuitive way. This way, product information appear when placing the mouse over the thumbnail, and text can be added in the text field directly on the t-shirt.
Improved functionality
Another new feature are filter functions when selecting a product. This allows you to see products available in certain colors or sizes. Some will be happy to see that product selection is no longer restricted to two designs and text. You can place as many designs on a t-shirt as you like (given there is enough space).
Better performance
Last but not least, improving the Designer's performance was something close to our hearts. The start-up time of the new Designer has been improved and it has become a more reliable tool all together (i.e. there are no 'session timouts' anymore.)
Further improvements planned
The new Designer disposes of a fantastic width of 980 pixels, and a further 650 pixels will be available soon. Soon you will also be able to change the background color and font to your personal liking.

Activate the new Designer in your user area when you go to Shops –> Settings.
