Writeable Flex to be replaced by Standard Flex on January 31st.

Up to now, we have offered 3 types of flex printing – Standard Flex, Writeable Flex, and Special Flex (i.e. metallic and sparkle). The idea behind offering Writeable Flex was to give customers an option to write and change a personal message on their design with a standard whiteboard pen, which we included with every order. However very few customers have ordered Writeable Flex, and a majority of those who ordered Writeable Flex selected designs that could not be written on – this is a clear sign to us that customers either do not have the need for Writeable Flex, or they do not perceive a difference between it and Standard Flex.

There is actually no difference between Writeable and Standard Flex – they are exactly the same. We use the same foils and the production processes are the same. If desired, customers can also write on Standard Flex with a non-permanent ink marker with the same results. So, to make selection much easier for customers, we will discontinue Writeable Flex and offer only Standard Flex in addition to Special Flex as of January 31, 2010.

We will replace the print type colors for products/articles using Writeable Flex with Standard Flex, since there is a perfect one-to-one match. As a result, we will not deactivate any of the current products/articles using Writeable Flex. We will simply eliminate Writeable Flex as an order option.
