What is the Spreadshirt Designer and how can I make my own t-shirt here?
With the Spreadshirt Designer you can design and order your own t-shirts and other products from our apparel assortment. There is no minimum order: you're free to order just one, individually printed shirt.
- Choose a t-shirt from our selection. You don’t know which size you need? Find out by clicking on the small information mark next to the product name. Details of the weight and manufacturing can be found there as well.
- Choose a design. You can upload your own photography, or pick one out from our Design Network (see Spreadshirt Marketplace). To find out which designs you can upload to the Spreadshirt Designer, have a look at this FAQ item. For basic info on designs for Spreadshirt, click here.
- But text can also be nice. Choose a font and write what you want. Your design and text can be turned, mirrored or enlarged within the given print area.
- Once the t-shirt looks like you want, proceed to check out and order it.
Every personally designed article is an original: Your design will be placed on the t-shirt according to your instructions. Since this action is not automated, it is possible that there could be minor alterations. Also, it's possible that the design will look smaller or larger in reality. This is because the t-shirt example shown is always a fixed size (often "medium", sometimes "small").

What is the Spreadshirt Designer and how can I make my own t-shirt there?
Our T-shirt Designer allows you to create your own custom t-shirts , custom hoodies and other apparel from our assortment and order directly from there. There is no minimum order - you can have just one single shirt printed according to your wishes.
- Choose a t-shirt from the "Products" tab. If you are not sure which size you need, click on the exclamation point next to the product name to get more information about the product. You will also find information about the product's fabric weight and manufacture on the product detail page.
- Choose a design. To find the right design, you can use the T-shirt Designer's search bar or browse through the categories. You can also upload your own photos in the T-shirt Designer and put them on the shirt.
- Text also works. Choose a font and write what you want. You can mix and match the design and the text. You can turn, mirror or change the size of the text or design within the printing area.
- Once your shirt appears as you want it, add to the cart and order it.
Every article you create is one of a kind: Your design will be placed as exactly as possible on the t-shirt according to your specifications. Because we print your shirt by hand, slight variations may occur. It is also possible that your design looks somewhat smaller or larger on the shirt than in the T-shirt Designer. This is due to the fact that the shirts in the Designer are almost always size M.
