The designer shop makes it possible for your customers to create products with your designs and order them directly in your shop.

  • earn 20% commission for each sale
  • sell your own designs and/or those from the Spreadshirt Marketplace
  • decide, whether your customers are allowed to upload their own designs
  • adjust the shop layout to your website or blog
  • create a starting product which loads with your shop

Designer shop set up

You need to create a new shop within the user area “Your Account” under “ Shops ”. This shop will be created with the designer layout. It is not possible to transform a classic shop into a designer shop and vice versa.

It is also possible to choose a starting product which will appear when someone enters your designer shop. Go to “Your Account” > “ Products ” and select the designer shop from the navigation list at the top. The first product which appears in the list is your starting product.

Add designs

On the “Designs” tab with the designer shop selected from the top navigation , you can view all of the designs which you have added to this shop. You can organize your designs into categories by going to “Your Account” > “ Designs ” > “Own categories” and creating your own categories. Designs which already have been added to this designer shop can be assigned to your categories under “Sort designs” (this is done by selecting the designs and using the bulk option dropdown at the bottom of the page.)

You can also decide whether all of the designs from the Spreadshirt Marketplace will appear in your designer or not. Go to “Shops” > “Settings” and select the designer shop from the top navigation list of shops.

It is not possible to select specific Marketplace categories to appear in your designer shop.

Prices and commission

The basic prices in the designer shop differ from those in the classic shop. Those in the designer are end customer prices and they are fixed prices. You receive a 20% commission for every net sale made from your designer shop.
