What is ‘Digital Direct’ printing?

The Digital Direct printing technique is a new form of digital printing. It is the ideal way to print photos and multicolored designs with complex details onto your t-shirts. The print quality is there for all to see - your motives come out rich in color and contrast – on dark t-shirts as well! The digital print is not quite as durable as the flex or flock printing methods and with time the colors will fade with washing.

And how exactly are the t-shirts printed?

Using the Digital Direct technique, colors are printed directly onto the shirt with a high-tech ink-jet printer. The print creates a very thin layer on the surface of the material. Dark t-shirts are primed with a layer of white before printing to help with the contrast between the design and the shirt. Therefore the print may feel a bit “thicker”.
