My first child was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and had his reconstructive surgery when he was a 1 week old. Since then, I have found myself becoming not only his health advocate but an awareness advocate as well. Now that my second child was diagnosed with a CHD I am even more determined to raise awareness and funds for congenital heart defect research. All proceeds will be donated to CHD research and the Hearts of Hope SE MI organization who supports local families who have children with a CHD.
