My name is Tony Van Thai founder of the South Of Angels Clothing Company. I was born and raised in San Diego, California which is south of Los Angeles a.k.a “South Of Angels” All throughout my school days I was preoccupied with art and drawing. I started out drawing blueprints for mansions with secret entrances and a helicopter on the roof. All the while imagining that I was a secret agent that owned that house. When I was in third grade I watched the Simpsons for the first time and I started to draw those characters. Bart was my favorite. I loved the yellow skin color and BIG eyes! I was inspired. Soon after the Simpsons I was introduced to Graffiti by a classmate. Again I was intrigued by the BOLD colors and WILD style. I started drawing names for other classmates and improving my skills along the way. One classmate asked me to draw a lowrider and for a while I went down the lowrider road.
