We were able to recently sit down with Tundra Comics creator and writer Chad Carpenter. Tundra Comics is the self-proclaimed third fastest growing comic strip on Jupiter. You can catch all of Chad’s comics here at Tundra Comics.
How did you come upon with the name Tundra?
I wanted a one-word title that would give readers an idea of what it was all about.
Where does your inspiration come from?
Avoiding a real job…and making people laugh. I’ve drawn cartoons since I was a kid and have always enjoyed sharing them with folks.
How long have you been creating? Was it always comics?
I’ve been drawing TUNDRA now for 21 years. And, yes, it’s always been comics…until the Broadway musical comes out.
Which comic or design are you most proud of?
They are like my children: I HAVE to like them all…or at least pretend to.
How did you find out about Spreadshirt?
I met Holly Bergantino of Spreadshirt at the International Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.
What do you want from your Spreadshirt shop?
To sell a whole lot of shirts, of course.
What has been your biggest success so far?
Marrying my wife! (You never know if she might read this). Also, being blessed enough to do what I love for a living.
If you were a t-shirt, what kind of t-shirt would you be and why?
I’d actually be a pair of boxer shorts.
