Before Christmas, we surveyed all of our Facebook fans about which design they would print on their favorite Spreadshirt bag. The feedback was ample, and a total of nearly 440 designs were submitted. In searching through our fans’ choices, we noticed that there are clear trends in what our fans like. We’d like to share them with you and see if you agree…
Owls
It wasn’t a huge surprise that animal motifs took the top spot as fans’ most-favored design. What was surprising, though, is one animal made an appearance more than any other: the owl. What is it about this feathery friend that intrigues our fans so much? After careful examination of our taste buds, we think it must be due to the combination of fluffy cuteness and wide-eyed wisdom.
Meow!
We have long suspected that cats are the secret rulers of the internet. That theory would explain the high number of cute and crazy cat pictures that dominate the interwebs. After owls, cats were the second most popular print for fans choosing their favorite bag designs. Somehow the hairballs and sneaky cunning are dismissed and their cuteness prevails.
No Sports
As far as sports go, all agreed that the “Running Sucks” design really spoke to us. And no matter how differently we feel about cats, owls or wise guy jokes, at the end of the day we all agree unanimously that running is and remains akin to pain and torture.
