Attention Partners! Top Marketplace Search Terms Released!

Design Trends 2015
There’s no doubting why our Top Marketplace Search Term blog posts rank highest in reads—each installment is almost like putting money directly into your pocket. They basically serve as insider information as to what our customers are searching for so you can cater your designs to the highest-volume search terms and capitalize. #WINNING

You’ve waited, you’ve asked, you’ve practically begged… here they are… the Top Marketplace Search Terms of the last three months (trumpets, please!):

The List

1. funny
2. geek
3. couples
4. sport
5. cool

So What Now?

You may be asking yourself, “What does this mean for me?” Well, my friends, what this means for you is very simple: Let’s say there was a lottery in which one number between one and a hundred was drawn. Let’s also say a lottery official pulled you aside before the draw and told you that the number would be somewhere in the thirties. Where would you put all your money? I hope you said on a few numbers in the thirties; if not, we are not seeing eye-to-eye here. This is the same premise as having access to our Top Marketplace Search Terms.

As an added bonus, have a peek at our last list of Top Marketplace Search Terms. Notice any overlap? That may just be another clue as to which basket you may want to pile more of your eggs in.

Plan Accordingly

If you cater and tag your designs to something within the funny, geek, couples, sports, and cool categories, you’re more likely to have them seen through repeated customer searches. Repeated viewing of your designs could result in repeated purchases and repeated profit. Cha-ching!

How helpful have our Top Marketplace Search Term articles been to you? Have you noticed more sales/profit as a result? We’d love to hear your comments.

  1. Hi @Rocky,

we are very happy that you like these kind of news and of course we will continue with it and provide you as well a bit more than the TOP 5 in the future. Please just contact our service colleagues via partner@spreadshirt.net and we´ll try to answer all of your questions.

    My best,
    Leila from Spreadshirt

  2. Thanks for the top 5, this type of data is really useful. Is it possible to see a top 25th percentile or more? That helps us spot opportunities that have decent search demand, and are either more niche or work more in favor of the designer’s strength. I have a few questions about marketplace analytics insight for partners. Is there a contact I can reach out to about them?
