Santa comes ‘round once a year carrying gifts for all the good little boys and girls all over the world.

Santa comes ‘round once a year carrying gifts for all the good little boys and girls all over the world. This year we want to make sure he’s gonna get stuck in the chimney with bag loads of gear from your Shop. It’s never too early to get your Shop ready to capitalize on the Christmas rush! Find out about Christmas products, designs and proper marketing activities in this week’s blog post.

Products

Here are a few essential seasonal bestsellers to send good tidings your way:

T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts also sell very well, particularly when adorned with some of those infamous ugly Christmas designs. And don’t forget to feature a Comfy Pillow and Cuddly Blanket, as they make for great Christmas gifts bound to spread the spirit of Father Christmas.

Designs

The design mantra for the season could be “Festive, festive, and a wee bit far-fetched”. Christmas presents should not to be narrowed down to strictly Santa and reindeer designs, as customers will certainly be searching for ‘regular’ stuff as well. It’s a good idea, though, to offer designs that you don’t usually offer. Consider offering them as a ‘limited edition’. Also, for more inspiration on what’s been doing well in recent weeks you can always read up on the blog here.

Social Media

We’re sure you’ve got a Facebook page and Instagram account for your Shop, right? Excellent! Keep uploading product and design pics to raise awareness for your gear, or run some sort of raffle or giveaway for a few days to get people interested in your offerings. You could offer a t-shirt from your Shop to the winner or a voucher for a later purchase. Regular posts definitely do the trick, as showing up on peoples’ feeds help to stick your Shop in people’s memories. Schedule your posts, and you’ll be in the money.

Your Shop

Boosting your sales is not rocket science. With just a few simple steps, you can make a positive impact on your numbers. In your User Area, you’ll find a statistics and analysis tool that helps you look into your sales stats. Use it to monitor your sales in order to put an emphasis on the good stuff. Or create a Christmassy atmosphere by installing header graphics or color schemes. It’s all very easily done with the new SpreadShop – make the switch if you haven’t done it yet! Oh yes, and always remember to use pertinent tags for your designs. Merry Christmas, ya’ll!

We’d like to wish you the best of success with this year’s holiday sales. Any ideas you feel like sharing or questions you want to ask? Please do let us know, and drop a comment below.

  1. I’d like to request the graphics team to provide campaign and promotional banners in formats suitable for social media promotion too; i.e. for posting on Twitter, Facebook, etc. The banners currently made available are for websites only, and need to be converted to appropriate sizes for Twitter and Facebook.

    Thank you!

  2. Great blog. Good reminders and advice here for the holiday season…thanks Spreadshirt! I too hope that Santa does not get stuck in anyone’s chimney! Funny to read that part since I actually have a funny Christmas design posted in the marketplace called Santa Party Pooper with good old Saint Nick “stuck” sitting in the chimney for the wrong reasons… And you thought that was COAL in your stocking…lol!

  3. Great Informative article that gave me more motivation for creating additional items for Christmas sales.

It looks like a complete blueprint for Success!

    Thanks!

    Jay
