Designs for Gifts

Funny & Ugly

The Ugly Christmas Sweater has been rocking people’s Christmas trees for years, and there’s no time quite like December to be sporting sweatshirts Bill Cosby would have never dared to wear.

Add Fun to Dad Gifts

Dads are a species that’s easy to please, but most people don’t want to aim low and give him something he’s only ever gonna wear on December 25th. When adorning products with designs intended for Christmas presents, bear in mind that most dads like getting a laugh out of a fun gift.

Designs for Cooking Aprons

The apron is an all-time classic. Mothers, aunties, dads, uncles and sisters all appreciate this token of appreciation, so cooking up some fun or clever designs intended to end up in the kitchen may just prove a piping hot tip.

Inside Tips for Marketing

When Do People Buy Christmas Gifts?

Of course folks have already started to look for and buy Christmas presents. That’s why uploading your designs to the Marketplace and spreading the mood in your Shop right now will prove beneficial. The craze is going to reach its towering height in the second week of December, so earmark December 3rd in your personal campaign planner to really start the heavy promotional push.

Christmas Marketing for Your Shop

Little posts on Facebook, Instagram and the like will let people know it’s Christmas in your Shop. Share product images showing your best/funniest/most Chrismassy designs, and write subtle messages along the lines of “what do you do when Santa strikes” or “just 21 days until Christmas” to make people aware of the urgency of the matter.

Also, a little raffle always is a great way to raise awareness for your Shop. Ask a question you’d hear at bar trivia, and say that the answer with the most likes will receive the product you’ve shared in the post. It’ll probably cost you less than $20, but it’s bound to have a lot of people checking out what else there is on offer in your Shop.

  1. Very timely article about Tips for Christmas sales Success. I’m already seeing early Christmas shoppers buying Ugly Sweaters, etc from my store.

I was surprised to see T-shirts (even in winter) are still hot items. Great info that any designer can use to their advantage. Thanks.
