As hinted at in my "interests", I have Aspergers Syndrome, which is a form of autism. I struggled to cope all my life without ever knowing why, then at the age of 40 I accidentally clicked a link after reading about Gary McKinnon, the so-called NASA hacker, and knew it was "me" immediately. It took almost three more years until I was able to get a formal diagnosis because no-one knew of a way, or wanted to assist, in getting a diagnosis as an adult. Mental health issues are a common side-effect, and far more common than you'd think for everyone, so before you berate someone for their actions, ask yourself whether *you* could have been starved of oxygen at birth and suffered some form of brain damage, had a stroke, have a learning difficulty etc. "My" Aspergers means I have hardly any "filter" on what I say, which means I can highly offensive without meaning to be.
