Category description code wanted

I would like to be able to have a short line of custom text appear directly below each category respectively when people are viewing them. How can I accomplish this painlessly?

I realize that when I create a new category I’m prompted for a description of the category… however, it doesn’t appear anywhere, so I’m at a loss for the purpose of it.

All help, and of course a simple solution is greatly appreciated.

Currently it’s only displayed in the overview page of all topics (when you type in your shopURL and add /collections ). But I have forwarded your suggestion to also have it displayed on the page of the category itself. We will work on it and hopefully within the next week I can give you some more info as to the exact display of the info on your category page itself. Thanks for the feedback.
