I got an email that said I made a sale, but it's not showing up on my dashboard

Title says the gist of it. I got an email that said I made my first sale a few hours ago and I looked at my dashboard and it says that I have made no sales. Is the email real? or is that just a subscribed mail list? I was hoping it’s not, but I can never assume these days.

Do I just have to wait a few days? Sorry I’m totally new to this.

I can see the sale in your dashboard. Maybe it just took a while?

It sometimes takes a while(even hours) for a sale to reflect on the dashboard but the email was real.
I had also experienced a case where I get no email at all but see a sale on the dashboard.
