Image Placement Details

Hello!

My store is here: https://shop.spreadshirt.com/spaymart/

I’m working on adding images to items in the new categories system, where you place an image on a “category” of items, and it appears on several other individual items in the store. First, a couple of issues:

  1. When I place an image correctly on the “Kid’s T-Shirts” category it appears HUGE on the Toddler Premium T-Shirt.
  2. When I place an image correctly on the Men & Women’s Premium Hoodies it appears SMALL and at the bottom of the garment on the Men & Women’s Hoodies.
  3. When I place an image correctly on the Men’s T-Shirt it appears all the way up on the neck seam of the Men’s T-Shirt by American Apparel.

You get the idea. Is there a way to influence how/where images are placed on items that are not the prime example in the categories?

Next, and this may be related: When moving & resizing images there are blue lines that appear. They seem to represent the top, center, and bottom of the printable area. Is there an ideal placement for images that can be determined using these lines?

In summary: All I want is for images to appear appropriately on all items. I also would like images to be placed appropriately on shirts, that is, not too high and not way down on the stomach.

Thanks in advance for your help - I love the new creation system, just need some tips for using it well.

The person can easily adjust the size and placement of your design when they choose which product they want to place it on. You may wish to add some basic shop and design instructions or even a video to your site to help them along. I’m still working on my site but plan to include a walkthrough video for this reason. Have a look at what I’m doing, it may give you some ideas for your shop.

There is not really an ideal placement for the design in that sense - the lines are for guidance. But after having had a look at your shop, it seems like you’ve done just fine with it

The issue you are mentioning about the design placement is a bug that we are aware of and are working on it. It is a rather unfortunate one and I can totally understand your frustration. I hope we get a resolution soon.

Perhaps to speed it up, you could send me your partner ID?

yes you are saying right about it. i also wanna do the same

I think the system itself has some flaws. There will inevitably be some deviations in the details of this layout design. When designing, I also encounter some dissatisfaction on the details, feedback to them is the best choice. Looking forward to a solution.
