Signed up on US Site but from UK

Hi,

I’ve not found a thread that explains this, but I originally signed up via https://www.spreadshirt.com/ but I am from the UK. Its quite tricky to understand if I need to be using https://www.spreadshirt.co.uk and also if I continue using .com does it affect where I can sell to and taxes (as Im from EU).

Sorry if this isnt clear, Im a little worried I’ve set up my shop but its not been done correctly.

Thanks,
Rush

Ahoy @User_NA-d0e1b9eb,

no need to be worry. If you opened an account on the .cm platform you can leave it as it is and also try to sell on the north american market.
But if you want to sell on the european markets you need to create a second account on your homedomain (probably .co.uk). We allow 1 account per platform - so having one on the european platform and another one on the northamerican platform is allowed.

Also if you want to create a shop for the european markets you should have a european account otherwise the shippingcosts will be to high for your customers.

If you’re not interested in the american marketplaces or just want t focus on the european first than I woud reccommend to close the account on the .com domain.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need furhter information.

Hi Rico,

Thats perfect thank you, I’d be keen to sell in both so will set up a second account. That said, I assume I have to manually redo all the designs, no way to import my designs / options across?

Thanks,
Rush

Ahoy @User_NA-d0e1b9eb,

unfortunatly not. Accountcreation needs to be done in all steps again. Sorry for having no better news.
