Vector Art Assistance

I’m new to Spreadshirt and am having issues uploading my vector art. I have tried both SVG and AI files, 3 color graphics, all colors saved on separate layers. For the SVG file, my art defaults to black and white, and AI just doesn’t work. I’m sure it’s something simple I’m missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Ahoy @User_NA-38600d57,

it’s probably not your fault. I have to admit that our vector upload is a bit outdated and has some struggle with the newest AI-format. We’re working on an updated upload environment but since this has not the highest prio I cant tell you when this will be done.

For AI-Files our system only accepts AI-version CC18 or lower. You will find those settings within the saving options.
For SVG-Files you need to check CSS-attributes-option. It has to be set to presentation attributes.

If your designs now also met our requirements than everything should work.
I hope this helps.

Same here, all three layers come in black. I saved it out of all the above formats. Argh…

I had some success on a few designs putting all on one layer (not separate layers)
In other words select all the elements of one color and “Collect in New Layer”. The entire design should be on one layer.
Save as an Illustrator 9 file. (Yes, I went way back to be sure :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)
