Vector art -> raster placement

I like to do my work in Illustrator (vector), convert the type to outlines, and upload the art. Since this design has more than three colors, I choose the raster version. That is fine, but the image is off center.

I wish it were centered, so I do not have to touch each product to center the image on the garment. Is there a way to fix the uploaded version, which will be fitted to the correct location on all garments.

Also, is it possible to upload a replacement image, without starting over picking each garment?

:wave: I think this problem is already known and we’re looking for a fix. Still though just for good measure - if you could send me your User ID & maybe a screenshot as an example?

I did not see a image add on the posting, so I included a link. I am just getting started, so any advice is welcome!

here is the latest. I create vector in Illustrator and expand everything, so fonts become graphics. I save as .ai file, upload to spreadshirt, chose raster (six colors), vector is three colors. It does it magic. I go to garments, and this is what I get. I did not change anything yet.

Hey :slight_smile:
I had a look on you designs and some of them (espacialy the pixel ones) are exported with a too big and not centeres transparent frame. Maybe you export the files with the artboard?
Which programm do you use?

first, I am using the latest Adobe Illustrator. File > Export

Use Artboards is not selected. Save as .png

I set up both Illustrator and Photoshop’s artboards to be 4000x4000 pixels.

Ok, so here is one of your designs. Of course, the hole file is 4000x4000px but the design itself is much smaller.

Can you try to use File > Export as… > select png
This is the way we export vector files.

I’m sorry, totally forgot that my illustrator is only german :smiley: but I think you can see that it is your design and that it is 4000x400 px and so on :wink:

Also sorry but I can not see your video :frowning:

I see the forum tries to embed the file and not showing it properly. I tried again, I removed the http:// seeing if that is better. and added quotes around it to protect it. Just copy and paste without the quotes in another tab.
