anyway to use raster png files on all products? is there a way to convert them or would i just need to recreate the designs in vector programs? also curious why raster png files are not able to be used on some products.
Hi @Designs4Minds,
the file (vector or pixel) for certain products depends on the printing method. Some products can only be printed on via flex/flock (only vector files). Check out this page for more information: https://help.spreadshirt.com/hc/en-us/articles/207487605-Print-Methods

ok thanks how do i know which products use which? i am interested in the neck gaiters and the disposable masks. do you guys know of any programs that change raster to vector that could be uploaded to your site?
Ahoy @Designs4Minds,
there are several ways on the internet to convert a pixelfile into a vectorfile. On some sites you just upload a png or jpg file and it will be converted directly. There are also some free sources of software to convert them.
BUT: I would not recommend any of those converting possibilities as the result in most cases wont fit the needs/requirements for our printing methods.
Instead, I would rather advise you to use a vector software like inkscape (free) or illustrator (expensive) to create a clean vector file from the ground. You will find ur requirements for vectorfiles here:
If you want to create designs for our masks, you do not necessarily need vector designs as we also print them with Digital Direct:
What do you mean with the neck gaiters? Do you mean the multifuntional scarfs? These are only availabe for customers via the “Create your Own” Section. You as a partner can’t create those products for our marketplace or your shop so you don’t need to think of designs for this product.
i was referring to your basic light weight face masks and multi-functional scarves that you also refer to as neck gaiters.
would it hurt to try uploading a image that was converted using a program like inkscape or online converter?
It probably wont get accepted. But at least you could try. The reason for our specific requirements for vectorgraphics is that those designs are plotted (cut out of foils) and than pressed on these products.
If the details of your converted design are smaller than 1.5 millimeter that the foils will tear.
Here you will see how the flexprint works:
