Vector file getting rejected. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks.
Ahoy @VividX,
you will find the requirements for the vectorupload here:
you could also send me your file via private message and I will have a look ( I will not rework it )
Thank you. How do I send the file?
Just answer my private message to you and attach your file.
Thanks. It’s an AI file and it will not allow the upload. Maybe rename the extension?
If its an AI file try to save it as an older CS18 ai-format. If your design met our requirements this should work.
I just saved it as a legacy (illustrator CC) in AI2020. Now it was able to show up but I still get the error message with some distortions in the file as you can see.
The lines are way to thin to be printable with flex. So why dont you just convert your designs into a png file with transparent background and upload it? This would be the simplest.
I already mentioned our requirements for vectorfiles some posts before. Your design doesnt fit our requirements for vectorfiles. The smallest elements have to be thicker than 1.5 milimeters. Those lines ore some elements of your design seem to be thinner.
This is most likely a problem with the printer. Contact the repair service. Or contact the store where you bought the printer for help.
As I said - it is not a problem of the printer. The svg-file just dont met our requirements for the flexprint.
Converting it into a pixelfile so that it can be printet with the Digital Direct printing mehtod would solve the problem.
