Accountant (f/m/d) with polish language skills in LeipzigSNGießerstraße 2704229Germany

Department: Accounting & Tax
You are the accountant (f/m/d) for our Polish and Czech subsidiaries and thus the contact person for all financial accounting matters of these two companies. You work from Leipzig and are fully integrated into our accounting team. You ensure that all business transactions of our subsidiaries are correctly and completely recorded and thus make a significant contribution to the correct preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements.

Your tasks

  • You take over the accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting including reconciliation of accounts
  • You are responsible for the G/L accounts and bank related accounting
  • You organize all the payments and perform the cash management
  • You are the first contact for our local colleagues
  • You create (intercompany) outgoing invoices
  • You will cooperate with our tax consultants in Poland and Czech Republic as well as with our internal tax department in preparing and submitting advance VAT returns and statistics
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to Polish and Czech GAAP

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your education as a financial accountant, tax clerk or are holding a comparable degree in finance and accounting
  • You are flexible, enjoy working in a team and have good communication skills and a high degree of proactiveness
  • You can communicate confidently in English and Polish
  • You can speak German as well? Awesome!
  • You are reliable and very well organized
  • You work with concentration and care over a long period of time and you never lose the fun whilst doing routine work
  • You are confident in working with the PC and have sound MS-Office knowledge, especially Excel
  • You have no relevant entries in your criminal record certificate

  • Professional experience in accounting of a Polish company and in an international environment
