Your tasks
- Creating a wide range of marketing copy for newsletters, blogs, landing pages, brochures, and other customer-facing channels (both online and off)
- Digging deeply into your bag of textual tricks and tapping into your well of creativity to find the simplest, most exciting, most empowering way to communicate the Spreadshirt message
- Communicating and collaborating across various teams and disciplines to assist in finding the best copy solutions for a wide array of initiatives
Your profile
- You speak and write American English at native speaker level
- You have a deep understanding of the American market, based on your experience with its culture and history, and can channel that understanding into your texts, reaching the American customer on an emotional level
- You can think, discuss, and brainstorm creatively, cleverly turning ideas into original and inspiring English texts geared toward the American customer
- Your writing style ranges from simple and clear to playful and witty, and you possess a keen awareness of the right time and place to employ your various tools
- Degree in Writing or Communications, or similar professional experience
- Experience in copywriting, preferably in an ecommerce, agency, or editorial position
- Strong command of English spelling and grammar
- A strong grasp of different target groups and communication channels
- Enthusiasm for the internet, ecommerce and technology
- Any knowledge of German or other languages is a plus
