Groupon and Spreadshirt join forces to deliver personalized employee apparel to global workforce

Highly coveted anniversary jackets represent employee loyalty across 48 countries

Boston, MA – September 8, 2014 – Groupon, Inc., a global leader of ecommerce that offers a marketplace of unbeatable deals, has partnered with Spreadshirt, leading ecommerce platform for print on demand apparel and accessories, to surprise and delight their global workforce with customized anniversary jackets that represent employee loyalty.

“At Groupon, employee satisfaction is a priority. Our track jacket program fosters a sense of pride and inclusion among staff and is just one of the ways we demonstrate our appreciation for loyal employees,” said Nadia Rawlinson, vice president of international HR at Groupon. “Spreadshirt has helped us rapidly scale this program to reach employees around the globe.”

After more than five years in business, Groupon has a global workforce of nearly 12,000 employees across 48 countries.

“Spreadshirt has enjoyed strong partnerships with many brands over the years and as the industry’s only 4-in-1 platform with the ability to ship to all of Groupon’s 48 countries, we were a great choice for them,” said Mark Venezia, senior vice president of Sales at Spreadshirt North America. “We are thrilled with the eager response from Groupon staff and are pleased to continue to produce and deliver 100 to 200 items each month to employees throughout the world. Just walking through Groupon’s headquarters in Chicago, it’s clear employees wear their jackets with pride.”

Groupon employees don’t have to wait for an anniversary to receive personalized work apparel and accessories since recently launching the online company store, which allows employees to add Groupon branding to more than 150 products available on the Spreadshirt platform.
