Leipzig, 25th March 2010: Spreadshirt, the creative platform for apparel, has expanded its Supervisory Board. Simon Guild and Kolja Hebenstreit have been recently elected to the Spreadshirt board.
Mr. Guild and Mr. Hebenstreit bring an extensive range of experience and knowledge to the Spreadshirt Supervisory Board. Simon Guild’s business background and 14-year career at MTV Networks Europe add a long-standing know-how in the areas of European market strategy and market expansion. Kolja Hebenstreit, partner at Team Europe Venture and former Business Unit Leader at Spreadshirt, rounds off the new additions with his various involvements with and knowledge of the Internet start-up scene. In total, the Spreadshirt Supervisory board now includes representatives from investors Kennet Partners and Accel, experts and business leaders from the European Internet start-up scene, as well as external members. Lukasz Gadowski remains Chairman of the Spreadshirt Supervisory board.
Rezzo Schlauch has ended his four-year membership on the Spreadshirt Supervisory Board and will move on to pursue other business opportunities. “Not only as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, I would also like to personally thank Rezzo for his support. He was especially helpful to Spreadshirt during its earlier expansion and organization”, said founder Lukasz Gadowski.
“The newest additions to the Spreadshirt board will support us with their various perspectives and experiences from different branches in related markets and help Spreadshirt achieve an even stronger global position”, commented Spreadshirt CEO Jana Eggers about the additions of Mr. Graf Lambsdorff, Mr. Guild and Mr. Hebenstreit to the Spreadshirt Supervisory Board.
In addition, Spreadshirt announces that Tobias Schaugg has been elected to the Executive Board. Mr. Schaugg has held the position of CFO since summer 2009.
