Spreadshirt Announces Pop Art Design Competition

Calling All Designers to Showcase Their Creativity for Prizes up to $500

Spreadshirt, the self-expression global e-commerce company, announces a design contest taking place throughout the month of March to celebrate Pop Art and is calling all international designers to put forward their most creative, ironic and kitsch designs.

Submission for entries began on March 1st and will run through the 15th. More information can be found here. Any designer who chooses to participate should upload their design during this timeframe to the Spreadshirt Marketplace and tag it with “popartcontest.”

After the submissions phase, Spreadshirt’s expert jury will choose the top 10 designs. Then, global voters will be able to cast their vote to narrow the designs down to the top three via Facebook between March 23rd and 26th, to determine who will ultimately win.

To raise the stakes, Spreadshirt is offering cash prizes for the top three voted designs – the 1st place prize winner will earn $500, the 2nd place winner will receive $250 and the 3rd place winner will earn $100.

Contestants are encouraged  to use additional keywords relating to their designs to demonstrate whatever best suits their Pop Art design. Due to the international reach, it is recommended that participants use English for a broader understanding, share their original designs on social media channels to create a buzz, and refrain from the use of copyright protected images. Creative designs will still resonate on the Spreadshirt platform even if they are not included in the top ten. The most spirited creatives will have the opportunity to earn some global bragging rights!
