Spreadshirt Hones Corporate Strategy and elevates Hugo Smoter to Chief Commercial Officer

Spreadshirt, the ecommerce platform for spreading ideas on something tangible, has sharpened and simplified their global corporate strategy with a specific emphasis on growing global commercial success. Hugo Smoter has assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), most recently serving as Global Head of Marketing, with 8 years of service at the Spreadshirt Boston office. As the Head of Global Marketing at Spreadshirt, Hugo directed worldwide marketing programs including paid search, organic search, affiliate marketing, display marketing, social media, advertising and business development. As the leader of the Direct-to-Consumer Business Unit, he was also responsible for all revenues and profits of the largest of the Spreadshirt Business Units. His positions prior to Spreadshirt include the developing interactive marketing programs for the Christian Science Monitor that are still in use today and interactive marketing for DigitalGlobe, the satellite imagery that powers Google Earth.

Spreadshirt is making strong steps to improve their management organization and internal processes in 2016. These changes are designed to create a simpler organization with better strategic management, creating a stronger future with faster growth and better service for customers and partners worldwide.

Additionally Spreadshirt is seeking 2 new key strategic officers, Director of Marketplaces and Director of Personalization Services to round out the team to deliver great global results.
