The company entered the 2014 Webby Awards with their touch optimized t-shirt design tool. This state of the art tool was developed completely in-house, delivered ahead of predications, and services 100% of all tablet users entering the Create-Your-Own area of the website. This section is an integral component of the platform as it allows users to personalize the available base products with their own designs and messages. Even shortly after the initial release, the application realized a higher Add2Basket conversion rate than the existing Flash based tool, and averaged 2 million visits per month in 2013.
“Honorees like Spreadshirt are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 12,000 entries we received this year.”
“Spreadshirt is truly honored to be a nominee at this highly coveted internet award for the Spreadshirt Touch Optimized T-Shirt Designer.
