As the new Global Head of Marketing, Hugo Smoter oversees all marketing activities worldwide while guiding content management and Spreadshirt’s SEO activities. In the newly created position, Smoter reports directly to CEO Philip Rooke. Smoter began his career at Spreadshirt in 2008 as a Marketing Programs Manager. Prior to joining the Spreadshirt team, Smoter received his MBA from the University of Massachusetts and worked as an Interactive Marketing Manager at the satellite image provider DigitalGlobe and as an Interactive Marketing Manager for the Christian Science Publishing Society.
Helping create a world-class product management team, Markus Smet, the new Global Director of Product Management, brings expertise in service design, user experience (UX), brand development and product management to Spreadshirt. Markus is responsible for developing a brand that delivers on its promise through a great customer experience online. Markus previously worked for Sky as the Head of User Experience and has delivered projects that increased customer satisfaction and loyalty across hardware products, call centres and online eCommerce sites. His experience also includes working as a senior consultant at EMC / Conchango with clients such as Tesco and Microsoft.
Spreadshirt’s new Art Director, Do Kil, is responsible for all platform design related topics and all visualization elements of the updated, global brand message. Kil is an experienced Graphic Designer and has degrees from California State University of Long Beach and the Basel School of Design in Switzerland. Kil is the former Art Director for L’Oreal and Maybelline New York.
Antje Kundt is the new European Sales Director. In this newly created role, Kundt is responsible for the strategic direction and coordination of all European sales teams along with the development of strategic marketing focusing on key accounts. Kundt reports directly to CEO Philip Rooke. Prior to Spreadshirt, Kundt spent nine years working in the B2B sector for Marcus Evans, where she was responsible for business and team development at sites in Italy, UK and Japan.
