Third Annual International T-Shirt Day Celebrates the T-Shirt with Free Events in Berlin, Boston, New York and Thessaloniki

Spreadshirt and CafePress team up to fete the iconic fashion staple

Boston & Berlin – June 10, 2010 – Fashion’s most popular, enduring and expressive wardrobe staple – the beloved T-shirt – will be feted on the first day of summer, June 21, 2010, in a three-city public celebration marking the third annual International T-shirt Day.

With events designed to celebrate the unique expressive nature of the T-shirt, customization leaders CafePress and Spreadshirt have joined forces in this day of celebration. This year free, public events will be held in Boston, Berlin, New York City and Thessaloniki. And for those that can’t attend the festivities in one of these host cities, a T-shirt Day Supporters Kit is available online, allowing anyone anywhere to throw their own virtual party.

Along with complimentary drinks, snacks and the opportunity to mingle with fellow T-shirt enthusiasts and fashionistas, each event will feature:

An “open runway” where attendees can rock their personali-tees on the red carpet and get a photo keepsake snapped of their model moment.

Free T-shirts (both pre-designed and design-your-own) that guests can add to their collections to commemorate the occasion.
