This winter’s been harsh: snow, cold temperatures, little sun. And we’re still waiting for spring to come. Unfortunately there is no sign of it, yet. But today is Plant-A-Flower-Day to remind us, that it won’t be long till the sun is shining, and flowers and trees will be more pretty than the greyish shades they are showing now. So go for it, plant a flower today!
The nice thing about it is, that you can plant a flower anywhere, in your garden, on your balcony or even on the streets.
So what’s the benefits of planting a flower? It’s just the idea, that we all get closer to nature, that we realise that beauty doesn’t lie in concrete, that plants and flowers are important in many ways. With guerilla gardening we are reclaiming the streets, it’s a subtle form of protest and it makes the cities more pretty.
