The Spreadshirt Collection- Coming Soon!

the Spreadshirt Collection

Hey t-shirt lovers – the big day is almost upon us!  The Spreadshirt Collection is en route to the US!  As promised, our very own t-shirt line will start running through our presses and printers in a few short weeks, just in time for back to school shopping!

More than 10 years of experience in the t-shirt industry showed us that the perfect t-shirt wasn’t out there.  So, we created it ourselves!  Our t-shirts:

  • Have brilliant print results. Our extra soft ring-spun cotton is optimized for print-on-demand.
  • Are fairly produced; certified and triple audited. Each t-shirt is equipped with a DNA code that lets you follow the tee all the way back to its origin.
  • Have size and style consistency. 10 key colors consistent across all sizes and styles are great for teams and groups.

But, let’s get to the details– what’s the Spreadshirt T-Shirt all about?

We will be delivering fabrics that have been optimized specifically for our printing methods.  We went through test after test to get the perfect knit of the right blend of cotton.  Now our t-shirts are in line with the most modern standards of comfort and style AND guarantee top print quality across the board.  We chose the Swiss apparel company Switcher to assist us in our line’s product development. They have proven to be one of our most dependable and serious partners and also happen to be a member of the Fair Wear Foundation that provides us with a highly certified network of manufacturers.

We didn’t want to stop there. Certified manufacturers are great, but – as you can imagine – there is a lot that can be hidden within the production of a t-shirt. So we decided to be open with our production process.  Not only do our t-shirts have an Öko-Tex label, but each and every shirt also has a DNA-Code which allows you to literally follow that shirt all the way back to its roots. You can enter the code on the Respect Code homepage and get all of the certificate and production info you’d like.

We’re also quite proud of our little lovetab label that is attached to the left sleeve and on the inside of the back of the collar. Now the Spreadshirt brand really gets noticed nicely in a subtle way.

When it comes down to sizes, colors, and cuts, we wanted to provide a broad range in all available styles. This provides an easy shopping experience for those needing shirts for team or group events and for our global shop partners who have shops on both of our platforms. Another new edition is the size 5X in our men’s style and additional colors for size 4X and women’s 3X. Over the years, we have received customer and partner requests to add more colors to our larger sizes. Now we’re delivering on this request.

The official product listing will consist of:

Men’s Classic T-Shirt:  (Sizes: S-5X) Colors: Black, White, Red, Navy, Royal Blue, Kelly Green, Heather Gray, Sun Yellow, Brown and Purple

Women’s Classic Fitted T-Shirt: (Sizes: S-3X) Colors: Black, White, Red, Navy, Royal Blue, Kelly Green, Heather Gray, Sun Yellow, Dark Pink and Purple

Kid’s Classic T-Shirt (Sizes: XS-L) Colors: Black, White, Red, Navy, Royal Blue, Kelly Green, Heather Gray, Dark Pink, Sun Yellow, Kelly Green

We will keep you updated on the official launch date as the t-shirt goodies make their way across the ocean! Look for more information on our Facebook page, forum, and twitter in the next weeks!

  1. well i see by reading on the main site that this is gonna take place in sept/oct…gonna do all i can to sell as many tees as possible before then cause after the changes,,nobody will be buying from this place. such a disappointment. looking elsewhere for a new store.

  2. Not even discussing that eyesore of a sleeve tab, if the US collection is anything like the EU collection, then these new collection shirts are going to be *2-4 TIMES SMALLER* than the products they’re replacing.

The 3X women’s collection t-shirt is equivalent to the *LARGE* in the Gildan women’s standard weight. This is the same shirt that will also be replacing the women’s *PLUS SIZE* shirt–the 3X is a full *5 INCHES* smaller than the current plus shirt.

It’s hard to not think Spreadshirt was only thinking of their bottom line with little regard for their customers and shop partners. I could have stayed at Crapé Press for that kind of treatment.

  3. The Collection shirts sounds pretty nice. Too bad I can’t offer them due to that loud, bright green “lovetab” on the sleeve with the logo of a competitor.

  4. WHY WOULD YOU PUT BLATANT SPREADSHIRT BRANDING ON YOUR PRODUCTS?? Please, please tell me the sleeve tag will go away! I already replace the existing tags on the collar and I don’t want an ugly, cut sleeve.

  5. Also, LOTS of customers aren’t going to buy an item with a bright green heart-logo tag on the sleeve anyway, especially if the shirt isn’t bright green itself. I’d never buy one for myself, for instance. So even if we DO offer these items that seriously undercut our own brand, many fewer people will be willing to buy them anyway. The conventional internal behind-the-neck tag is fine, but the external sleeve “lovetab” clearly should be eliminated.

  6. Premium shop owners PAY for NO BRANDING! This “lovetab” is branding of the WORST and most intrusive kind. It puts our COMPETITOR’S BRAND right on the exterior of OUR OWN products in bright, conspicuous green! Absolutely crazy. Indeed, what WERE they thinking? Until the lovetab goes, I’ll offer none of these items.

  7. The lovetab on the sleeve is a TERRIBLE idea, both for Spreadshirt and for your partners/designers. What were you thinking? If polled, I guarantee you a strong majority of customers would not want this on their shirt and will remove it. Without question, this lovetab on the sleeve should be eliminatated.

  8. I’ve been dreading this. Ever since the new shirts were forced on us in the UK stores I’ve had nothing but negative feedback thanks to the fact they’re more expensive (adding 5-10% or so onto my prices) and those sleeve tags.

They’re obtrusive on almost all colour schemes, especially the black I use a lot for glow in the dark, and if I’m honest my first thought was… shouldn’t they be cheaper if we’re advertising you? After all, that’s what these tags are, an advert.

It’s anything but “subtle” unless you mean subtle in that folks won’t actually understand what it means and I doubt many customers will go out of their way to tell them, after all, I want my customers to be promoting ME… selfish but true.

I sort of get it for individual buys, but one of the best parts about this site was that it didn’t throw itself to the fore for designers and kept a background presence.

  9. I don’t like the heart icon wither,, i mean how many men will wear these? i’ve already told my buyers about the changes n they will not order them..thanks spreadshirt for takin away all our customers.

  10. While I appreciate the 5x size I would love to see some XT sizes. I am personally a 2XT or 3XT depending on the shirt. The difference is if I get a 3 or 4 XL it just ends up looking like a tent on me where the XT fits a little better and hangs better. Wearing a XL just makes me look bigger than I am and is not very flattering.

  11. Um…nice idea, but that “lovetag” sucks. It’s kinda ugly and I immediately replaced all “lovetag”-shirts in my shop which had automatically replaced the products which I have had offered before.
Unfortunately there are obviously no more men’s heavy weight, girlie and American Apparal shirts. Last ones where of great quality.
Besides the “Spreadshirt” shirts look real ugly in the preview thumbnail and might prevent customers from buying the product.

  12. I do not think it is good idea to place the Spreadshirt logo on the tshirt sleeves/arms because it may conflict with the designs of a customer’s logo.

  13. Still no chance of a Tan shirt? I’ve been asking for a long time now for a basic Tan or Sand color to go with the Army uniform. I could sell so many more shirts if you had a tan. The Army is very particular on the colors, I know you have a Heather but it is just not close enough.

  14. I don’t know why you’re replacing the mens Heavyweight shirt. Replacing the womens heavyweight shirt cost me customers and so will this. I always buy the mens heavyweight tees for myself. This is a huge mistake in my book.

  15. Nooooooo, no more light pink?? I’m assuming “dark pink” is like hot pink… I’m gonna miss having my cutesy designs available on that nice light pink color.

Aw man, and no light blue either? D:

  16. Will there be tagless shirts? Is the sleeve label on all shirts? This will effect us that have stores and print shirts for other brands & companies.

  17. I love everything about the collection… except the Love Tab. If you ever decide to remove the tab from your partner’s products then I will sell these. Pls consider it.
