Listen, I’m a steak guy. Filet mignon and ribeyes, t-bones and sirloins, strip steaks, skirt steaks, flat irons, NY-this, Pittsburgh-that. Does it have steak in it? I’ll eat it. 100%. Rare. Give it to me. Put blue cheese on it, wrap it with bacon, pour whatever you want on it. I will eat every last moist, juicy, delicious bite….
…then there are vegans. I’m not here to judge, people. I’m all for diversity and equal opportunity. I’m all about you do you and I’ll do me and we’ll be good. That said, here is the dictionary.com definition of the word “vegan”:
vegan
[vee-guh n]
noun
1. a vegetarian who omits all animal products from the diet.
So, boys and girls, this means: no eggs, no bacon, no chicken, no butter, no milk, no cheese… um…. no anything. Especially no steak. Zero steak. Not even a little bit of steak. I don’t even think vegans are allowed to smell steak. Or say steak. That’s 100% accurate. I asked a vegan.
