I added a header photo in the marketplace settings and am not sure how to remove it now. I would like to restore it to the default setting- No photo. I only see an option to upload a new photo. Am I missing something?

Unfortunately this is not possible right now, but planned for the future. Maybe you can create a new header image for your showroom and change the current one?
Just a guess but try this. Create a graphic, 1x1 pixel (or if they have a min size do that.) and make it the same color as the plain field you will place it in. Upload that new graphic.
