Spreadshirt’s Marketplace is vast and ever-growing. With such a large library of designs, making sure we have a good selection of creative, high-quality choices for each and every category is a daunting task. It’s common sense to survey the most-searched categories and assure there is a wide selection of designs in those areas, but trends are ever-changing, and therefore, so are the areas of opportunity in our Marketplace. Here are a few areas of need where we could really use your help. The following terms have very high search numbers, but not enough volume by way of design selection. Create some high-quality stuff and you’ll be putting yourself in a good place for conversions.

Birthdays

It’s someone’s birthday every day of the year. That’s 365 ¼ opportunities for you to sell a birthday design. Start with the popular design searches like the decade birthdays (30th, 40th, 50th, etc.) and work your way down the list to other milestones like turning 18, 21, or even 100. Smartass commentary about someone’s age and things like “over the hill” are always a hit. Birthday designs are a big area of opportunity in our Marketplace.

Graduation

Like birthdays—but with less frequency—graduations are an event is perpetually occurring. Every sping/summer, and at other points in the year for various private programs, graduation come back around and the demand for high-quality design rises. “Class of” designs are always popular, but there are plenty of those available. Think groups, here. Lots of grads like to buy in group to show their solidarity in achievement.

Pride &Diversity

Our Marketplace has a fair number of sexual equality designs that fall under the ‘pride’ and ‘diversity’ tags, but there’s a lot more out there to be proud of, isn’t there? Pride for your family, pride in your heritage, pride in your team, school… pride in ANYTHING! And diversity doesn’t just stop with race. Vegetarians, hipsters, motorcycle clubs, geeks, clowns—whatever your lifestyle, it takes all kinds to make the world go ‘round. Celebrate the unique qualities of our diverse world with creative designs that help people express themselves and their interests. Help bolster these areas of need in our Marketplace and you could end up REALLY proud of your efforts!
